Rotary Tirupati Human Milk Bank, established at Government Maternity Hospital, Tirupati, is a dedicated facility that provides safe, pasteurized donor human milk to premature, underweight, and critically ill newborns. Our milk bank operates with advanced neonatal standards, microbiological testing, and strict pasteurization protocols to ensure every drop of milk reaches infants in its safest and most nutritious form.

This initiative was launched to address the growing need for human milk among babies admitted to NICUs, especially when a mother is unable to lactate due to medical complications, preterm delivery, postpartum illness, or insufficient supply. We work closely with pediatricians, neonatologists, lactation specialists, and healthcare workers to support newborn survival and promote breastfeeding as the first and best nutrition.

Located within a major public maternity hospital, the milk bank serves not only Tirupati but also surrounding towns and referral hospitals—making life-saving human milk accessible to babies from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
